Created in 2019 by Hyundai Motor Brazil in partnership with H Racing Garage, the Hyundai HB20 Cup has established itself as the largest single-make series in Brazilian motorsports. The championship was launched with the goal of bringing the brand’s best-selling vehicle to the track, ensuring that the race cars closely resemble the models sold at dealerships.

The series was designed to highlight the drivers’ skills, as all compete in vehicles with similar specifications, making on-track performance one of the key factors in securing victories.

Hyundai Mobis Expands Its Presence in Motorsports

In the 2026 season, Hyundai Mobis joined the group of official sponsors of the HB20 Cup. The brand is featured on the front bumpers of all cars on the grid and is also part of the series’ digital marketing campaigns.

In addition to this brand exposure, Mobis plays a strategic role by supplying the replacement parts used in the race cars. Among the components provided are front and rear bumpers, emblems, grilles, headlights, doors, roofs, ignition coils, windshields, radiator grilles, and rear panels, among other essential items for the maintenance and preparation of the cars throughout the season.

During the fourth round held on May 30 and 31 at the Interlagos Circuit in São Paulo, Hyundai Mobis hosted an exclusive experience for automotive journalist and influencer Rafael Poci Déa, from the Auto Mais channel, who went behind the scenes of the competition and took a lap alongside a professional driver.

“The HB20 Cup has been growing significantly with each season, and Hyundai Mobis’ entry as a sponsor in 2026 reinforces this trend. It is very important to be able to count on a company that is directly linked to the quality of car parts and that helps further connect what happens on the track with the product that reaches the customer,” says Daniel Freire, CEO of the HB20 Cup.

Women’s category marks a new phase in the competition

One of the main new features of the 2026 season is the debut of the women’s category, which brings together ten female drivers on the grid. The initiative represents a significant step forward for the inclusion and development of women’s motorsports in Brazil, creating opportunities to nurture new talent on the track.

In addition to the all-female competition, two female drivers are also competing in the Super category, designed for novice and developing drivers, sharing the track with male competitors.

The Hyundai HB20 Cup also retains the traditional Pro category, aimed at professional drivers; the Elite category, for gentlemen drivers; and the Super category. The season also marks the debut of the Super Master category, created for more experienced drivers who simultaneously earn points in their main categories, Pro or Elite.

The calendar includes ten races in 2026

The 2026 season features ten races. So far, the championship has already visited Campo Grande (MS), Santa Cruz do Sul (RS), Cascavel (PR), and the Interlagos Circuit in São Paulo, as part of the NASCAR Brasil and Copa Truck schedules.

The next races are scheduled for Mogi Guaçu (SP) on June 27; Santa Cruz do Sul (RS) on August 1 and 2; and Goiânia (GO) on August 22 and 23. The dates and locations for the remaining rounds will be announced by the organization throughout the season.
