Hyundai Mobis will be present at CES 2025 (Customer Electronics Show), the world’s largest technology event, which will take place from January 7 to 10 at the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC) in Las Vegas, USA. Participating in the event for the tenth consecutive year since 2016, the company reaffirms its leadership in innovative mobility technologies and advanced solutions already produced on a large scale.

In this edition, Hyundai Mobis will offer visitors a unique experience with its “Human Tech” approach, developed under the theme “Beyond and More”. Human Tech” represents a revolutionary technology that eliminates barriers between people and technology, with the aim of maximizing user safety and convenience through organic and intuitive interactions.

Transparent holographic windshield display

At CES 2025, Hyundai Mobis will present three innovative technologies focused on the human experience: the Holographic Windshield Display, the User-Centered Interior Lighting System and M.Brain, an advanced solution that monitors driver distraction by analyzing their brain waves.

For the first time, Hyundai Mobis will present to the public the ‘Holographic Windshield Display’, developed in partnership with the German optics company ZEISS. To enhance the user experience, this technology will be integrated into Kia’s EV9 electric vehicle during the presentation. The display projects a wide range of information – such as driving, navigation and infotainment data – directly onto the windshield, covering from the driver’s to the passenger’s field of vision.

The innovation uses a special optical film applied to the windshield, allowing drivers to access important information without compromising visibility, promoting a feeling of spaciousness and safety when driving. Although it is not yet in mass production, the ‘Holographic Windshield Display’ is already considered cutting-edge technology and is expected to be manufactured on a large scale from 2027.

On the occasion, Hyundai Mobis will also present the “Human Centric Interior Lighting” technology, which changes like a chameleon according to the user’s mood and situation. This intelligent lighting system can implement 32 different situational patterns: including reducing driver stress and kinetosis (motion sickness), preventing risks during disassembly, mitigating collisions when opening doors (door crash prevention) and lighting with UVC sterilization, an ultraviolet light used to kill microorganisms such as bacteria and viruses, disinfecting surfaces. Visitors to the Hyundai Mobis stand will be able to see how this lighting technology responds to changes in the driver’s biological rhythms, health and the environment around the vehicle.

The main human technology presented by Hyundai Mobis will be M.Brain, an innovative system that monitors the driver’s state of attention in real time by analyzing brain waves. If inattention is detected, such as drowsiness at the wheel, the system issues alerts using different stimuli: visual (LED lights around the driver’s seat), tactile (vibration in the seat) and auditory (speakers integrated into the headrest).

Visitors to the Hyundai Mobis stand will have the opportunity to see live demonstrations of brainwave analysis and the practical operation of M.Brain technology.

Innovative and technological stand

On the stand, Hyundai Mobis will highlight transparency in design, symbolizing the removal of physical boundaries. The stand’s external walls and ceiling structures have been configured as transparent curtains, emphasizing the connection between people and technology and between the exhibition space and visitors.

In the Private Zone, Hyundai Mobis will exhibit 16 strategic products in areas such as electrification, electronics, chassis and lighting systems to meet global orders and will conduct personalized sales activities for each customer company.

Throughout this year, Hyundai Mobis has strengthened its customer-centric sales activities by participating in major global mobility events such as the Paris Motor Show and Auto China. At the ‘CEO Investor Day’ held on November 19, Hyundai Mobis President Lee Gyu-suk pointed out: “Based on our leading technological competitiveness, we aim to expand the proportion of global automaker sales to 40% of our total core automotive component sales by 2033, propelling us to become a TOP 3 global automotive supplier.”
