Hyundai Mobis presents a new exclusive accessory for Hyundai CRETA: the side step, developed to offer more practicality in everyday life and give the vehicle an even more robust and adventurous look.
Specially designed for Hyundai CRETA models launched from 2021 onwards, the running board is made of aluminum and carbon steel fasteners, with warranted high strength and durability. Installation is done without drilling holes in the structure, preserving the integrity of the vehicle.
In addition to reinforcing the vehicle’s robust and sporty style, the side step offers important features: it helps children and people with reduced mobility to get in and out of the vehicle, and also provides support for reaching the roof or trunk of the car. “The new side step was designed to combine design and functionality, meeting the needs of our customers,” says Mauro Borges, Commercial Manager of the Service Parts division at Hyundai Mobis Brazil.
The accessory also helps protect against impacts from rocks, hits in gutters, and splashes of mud and debris when driving on roads, highways, and dirt trails.
Installation and safety
Highly resistant fasteners are distributed at four points to ensure greater stability for the running board. In addition, their installation does not interfere with the use of the hydraulic jack during tire changes or maintenance procedures on the car lift.
The side steps can be installed at all Hyundai dealerships in Brazil and come with a 12-month warranted period for manufacturing defects. This warranted period does not cover defects caused by incorrect installation, as detailed in the product manual.
