Hyundai Mobis won 6th place in the list of the top 100 suppliers by the annual ranking of Automotive News, a publication specializing in the automotive industry. The Korean company also appears in 3rd place among the top 10 Asian suppliers. The purpose of this ranking is to show the evolution of the world’s largest suppliers of parts and original equipment to the automotive industry.
The result of this survey is extremely relevant for Hyundai Mobis, since Automotive News is considered one of the industry’s leading communication vehicles, providing news, analysis, data and information on auto manufacturers, suppliers, dealers, market trends and other subjects related to the automotive world.
Listed for 13 consecutive years among the top 10 global auto parts manufacturers, Hyundai Mobis continues to grow rapidly and invest increasingly in technology and innovation to conquer new markets within the industry.
Hyundai Mobis global orders have been increasing since 2020 and reached US$4.7 billion in 2022. Last year’s result exceeded the company’s target by 25%. For 2023, the Korean manufacturer aims to reach $5.3 billion in its production bases worldwide.
In Brazil, Hyundai Mobis has three units in the state of São Paulo: the automotive modules plant in Piracicaba, the Distribution Center in Rio das Pedras, and the Commercial Office in São Paulo.
The ranking is ranked by total sales of genuine automotive parts.
