The biggest gastronomic and solidarity festival in the region, the 39th Piracicaba Festival of Nations, takes place from May 15 to 19 at Engenho Central, a tourist and historical site in the city.
Hyundai Mobis is among the companies supporting the event which, as in all its history, will see 100% of the proceeds go to 19 social institutions in Piracicaba.
This year’s event includes the culture and gastronomy of 17 nations: South Africa, Germany, Austria, Brazil, Congo, South Korea, Spain, United States, Netherlands, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Mozambique, Arab Nations, Portugal, United Kingdom and Switzerland.
One of the main characteristics of the festival is the chain of solidarity, where all the stalls are powered by the work of more than 5,000 volunteers who dedicate time to acts of generosity on behalf of philanthropic institutions and their beneficiaries.
As well as the nations’ stalls, visitors can visit the entertainment areas, shows, cultural attractions and performances on the main stage.
In Piracicaba, Hyundai Mobis has an auto parts factory and part of the Distribution Center at the Polo Automotivo. Support for the charity event is in line with initiatives that promote cultural exchange throughout society and the importance of charities to the city.
